The Eagles played the last match of the season today against Beyer High School. The match was significant on a couple of different levels. For the team, today was significant because the Eagles completed a perfect 12-0 season (a first in Enochs golf history). Second the score of 238 marked the fourth time this season the team came in with a total lower than 240. And lastly, the Enochs girls golf team clinched their second straight MMC title.
For some of our players today marked the end of their high school golf career. Today was the last match for our seniors. Devin, Demetria, Danielle, Jill and Kati will all be moving on next year. I personally want to thank each of you for your determination, desire and commitment. I have truly enjoyed being your coach and playing golf with you. Congratulations to each of you for your accomplishments.
The next step for the Eagles golf team is to prepare for the playoffs. The team will begin practicing for the MMC tournament and then the Division 1 Sub-Section tournament. There is still some golf to prepare for and some big challenges ahead. Go Eagles!
